In this gaming era, Xiaomi Poco again comes with the best budget gaming phone.
Like their rivals like oppo who created sub-brand Realme to counter this issue, Xiaomi also came with their sub-brand Poco and now it has started building a buzz in the market, and people are talking about it and it is giving an edge to edge competition to its opponents. Looking at the features of the phone its seems like a rebranded version of Xiaomi k30 hope we will see this brand creating more buzz in future.
In terms of pricing, Poco is providing a phone that is having hardware according to its price.
In design, we see that most sub-brand look similar to their parent somehow Poco is different Poco X2 has matt finish back body unlike K30 glossy finish back body all over the look of the phone seems premium.
The only issue in the design is the above surface camera setup which will make you feel bad when you will keep your phone on the hard surface.
The side fingerprint in the phone is a plus point because it is human nature that our hand goes automatically to power button And unlocks your phone. The phone doesn’t have a separate micro SD card slot to expand your storage if you are using a dual sim that is a significant drawback.
Design and Display
Poco Goliath screen size of 6.7 inches makes it a world-class experience for gamers. The display gives best viewing angles even in outdoor conditions. But Still, it cannot match the level of Amoled in terms of contrast and black levels. Poco is also offering a 120Hz refresh rate, which we usually don’t see in budget phones. Realme X2 is providing at most that means that makes this phone better for a gaming experience, unlike its opponents.
Performance
The Poco X2 runs on snapdragon 730G which we have previously seen in Realme X2, but here what Poco is offering is that its 6GB of ram and 64 GB internal memory and realme is offering 4 GB of ram in its starting variant at the same price point . As we all know that, snapdragon 730 G is a processor made for mid-range smartphones and fully optimised for the gaming experience.
The phone has 4500 mah of battery with 27 W fast charging that will provide you all-day battery life in a single charge
Camera setup
The primary camera of Poco X2 has 64 MP with song IMX 686 image sensor. 2MP depth sensor for portrait mode. 8 MP for taking ultra-wide shots and 2MP macro lens for taking close up shots. The 64 MP camera is not default setup every time you have to switch. regular shots on this phone create ample anount of detailing, but low light shots are disappointing and image quality produce is not upto the mark. The two front facing cameras are good for close up shots but dont expect too much from it.
Poco X2 Cons and Disadvantages
1) No micro sd card slot for storage expansion is a major drawback.
2) Same price point, Realme X2 is giving better display quality and 30W fast charging . The image quality, was not good in low light condition it created loud images with reddish grain and loss in detail the phone is a performance phone but not a camera phone.
