Beach bus crash: Teen dies, another three critical after rollover

A teenager is dead, one person has lost a limb and others have suffered head injuries after a bus rolled on Queensland’s Whitsunday Coast.






The 19-year-old man died in Proserpine Hospital, hours after the bus left the road and overturned at Cannon Valley, near Airlie Beach, around 1pm on Tuesday.

Ten others were badly injured, including three who remain in a critical condition.
Those injured were as young as six months and as old as 79.



It’s unclear what caused the bus, which was carrying 13 people, to roll and end up on its side off the edge of the Shute Harbour Road.
