Lenove is going to start first phone project with Google. Google is working on a project and Lenovo will join this project. Google and lenovo have announced this will be the first handphone for the customers with Tango project. Company
announced the releasing date two years, now the time has come, this year(2016) in summer(june-july) final months.
The phone which will be released by Lenovo will be a consumer facing device and will come under $500 (approx Rs 33,400). Also interesting is that Lenovo and Google have said it’ll be “less than 6.5 inches” in size. The earlier smartphone announced by Google back in 2014, was an Android-based prototype 5-inch phone and developer kit with advanced 3D sensors.
Tango, unveiled nearly two years ago, allows devices to map the 3D space around them in real time using a combination of cameras and sensors. Google wants to combine these 3D sensors with advanced computer vision
techniques that will help fork out newer innovations for indoor navigations, games and so on.
Lenovo will be using an RGB camera, a depth sensing camera module and a fish eye lens on its Project Tango phone, which will be arranged in a vertical module. App developers can transform your home into a game level, or create a magic window into virtual and augmented environments. Using the sensor in the device, Project Tango devices can also capture the 3D dimensions of the room, giving measurements that can be used to help you when shopping for furniture or decorations.
According to the Johnny Lee, to work with the Lenovo this project will become the magical window in the physical world. Work with Lenovo is very helpful, project Tango more accessible to user and developers all over the world for the user. The user can easily access the phone and easy to handle/manage.
