iOS 16.4.1 update, Apple has given iPhone users a compelling motive to update their devices

The release notes mention only three fixes, but the updates include two major security patches.

The updates fix most, if not all, of the bugs introduced in iOS 16.4 and macOS 13.3.

The Weather app had problems displaying the forecast and experienced a complete data outage, but it is now restored and appears to be working fine.

Some users reported shortened battery life after the iOS 16.4 update, but the issue seems to have been resolved in iOS 16.4.1.

The macOS 13.3 update introduced problems with user Home directories saved to external drives, but this has been fixed in macOS Ventura 13.3.1.

Some users experienced issues with Quick Look and Universal Control and Handoff in macOS 13.3, and it is unclear if these issues have been fully resolved in macOS Ventura 13.3.1.
